While it is customary for a bereaved to be consoled at the demise of someone dear to him or her; it is not the same in Ondo State as the wife of the departed Governor of the State, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu, is being trolled under her controversial posts hours after the news of her husband's death made it to the open.

Arabinrin Akeredolu had while the husband was in a critical state yesterday, surfaced with a caustic description of the removal of the protective walls erected in Akure by the government led by her husband as cheap popularity.

While reacting to the removal ordered by Ayedatiwa and which enjoyed wide applause from Ondo people, she said:

"Wall of Jericho was it for fun? No! For public safety 2 Prevent Reckless Driving&Accidents. Get sm sense pipu! #cheap popularity."

She made further posts around 10:40am and 4:55pm yesterday, saying:

"I'm an activist bf First Lady. Truth must be told. If e dey pain u, go hug transformer!

She further said:

"When you made your wife a doormat, you can't stand a woman on her own terms! Sorry o- Arabinrin aka Ada Owere 1 worldwide."

Citizen Rapporteur upon a deeper assessment of the three posts, discovered how they have been widely engaged in the past 3 hours after the news of the husband's death became public knowledge.

Some concerned Ondo citizens have however been trolling the Governor's wife with criticisms and insults since the news of the governor's death was broken.

One person said:

"So, governor's health is between life and death as at this time u are posting this rubbish? O ye ki won so yin looko pa ni madam. May any man not have a kind of woman like u as wife. So Sad! Rest in Peace dear governor. Mr. Talk and do......May God forgive all ur sin and grant u eternal rest. And may God console the good children he have n his entire family."

Another said:

"It’s a pity a lover-man like Aketi end up with Betty, a wayward First Lady ever liveth in Nigeria. Her husband was in a critical condition whilst she was using her phone to write nonsense up and down. May the stolen money of our state continue to send more people to Germany and never return back. You can’t inflict pains on the people and expect better health. No peace for the wicked politicians who see public office as avenue to steal. Adieu Mr Talk and Do Gov."
